Football for the Fallen is an initiative that started at Chewton Mendip Primary School, Somerset in November 2013. Its aims are very simple:
- Get today’s communities to remember the sacrifice given by our past’s communities.
- Through the medium of football & youth remember the brief reconciliation of the British and German Armies of 1914.
- Raise and sustain awareness of the sacrifice given in all combat operations.
